Just a short note introducing myself as a selected candidate for councillor to represent the views and opinions of residents within the Castle Ward. A teacher of Mathematics and Computer science for some 39 years now retired; I'm more than ready, if elected, to accept the responsibility of councillorship to enhance the real needs of the City's residents. As a Swansea resident myself, I live at 6 St. Helen's Crescent with my wife Margaret and daughter Lucy, I frequently stroll through the Sandfields to the town centre, the maritime quarter and beyond and have become increasingly aware of the rich, diverse and vibrant community I live in, a community I'm willing work for. I believe I'm a pro-active, out and about kind of guy willing to meet and discuss issues that concern residents and to do something about them!
