John Carpenter
John was born in London but has spent most of his adult life in wales, runs a business from Loughor, dealing and restoring antiques, and musical instruments, his time spent advising, lecturing and valuing items. He lives at 66 Bryn rd, Loughor with his wife Caroline and son Anthony, who is the last to live at home, he has 6 children who are spread around the world pursuing their chosen careers.
John has wide interests, local life and history, music, he plays in the Swansea Community Orchestra and The Whitefern Mountain String band, the violin being his instrument, and of course local radio being a popular presenter on Radio Tircoed (106.5 fm) which is a community station run by volunteers.
New to politics he is determined to improve the village that is his home.
Special interest and ideas to look after what we have, Loughor is a nice place to live, wde have some problems with pot holes, dog mess, (some bins have been removed but will be replaced, and car parking, especially in Alexandra road, parts of Bryn road and Borough road. There are far too many houses that are empty in my ward.
Spent most of my life as an antiques dealer and musical instrument expert, and renovating and buying and selling houses.
